Based out of London, Ontario, I am a Mental Health Counsellor and Trauma Support Specialist who believes in creating a trusting relationship based in stability and safety, so you can push through your trauma and find life on the other side of fear.

My Mission

My mission is to provide tools to individuals who are facing their own trauma and pain. To provide them a safe space where they can unravel, tap into their creative gifts of art and poetry, and allow themselves to open up to healing. To help them create spaces of intention; mentally, emotionally and physically.

As such, I have been taking post graduate studies to better understand the brain, how it works, how it deals with and fragments emotions and how we can reframe our experiences, changing our circumstances by becoming empowered participants in our lives.

I knew that my approach was different than the traditional model of psychotherapy, and that my clients needed it to be. I’ve found home in becoming a Counsellor and Trauma Support Specialist, using art and writing, grounding and meditation as my main modalities. My approach is that of transformational counselling wherein change leads to personal transformation and freedom. It is deep and it is intuitive, and I am honoured to hold space for my clients.

My areas of focus are:

  • trauma support

  • sexual assault

  • grief and bereavement

  • ADHD management

  • gender affirming mental health

I am also a human who lives with ADHD (inattentive) and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. I was diagnosed at 40 years old, and have been developing tools for daily management as a result. Writing, artistic expression, movement, and meditation have allowed me to learn how to work with my ADHD instead of against it, and these are tools I help others foster for their own ADHD management.

As part of the LGBTQ+ community, gender affirming mental health care is incredibly important to me. My pronouns are she/her, and I am a bisexual human being. To me, it’s important that my clients know this prior to session in the event that they are carrying trauma associated with their gender or sexual identity, to ensure that they feel safe, welcome, and validated in our counselling space.

Trauma is relative to the individual, so there isn’t a one size fits all answer to healing. Your path may be one of art and writing, while another may need reframing of experience through mindset and meditation. The point is that you find your own way, and I’m here to help you get there.

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.
